ToonDoo
ToonDoo is an excellent way to express a simple thought. I enjoyed making my cartoon below, and if I give students a certain topic, I believe they will, too.

My ToonDoo

My ToonDoo
Pinterest is a great way to tie in everyday situations and objects with mathematics. A bookshelf becomes and perimeter problem. A spiral turns into the Golden Ratio. Take a look at my Pinterest link at the bottom of my Web 2.0 Applications page. What mathematical discussions and possible word problems can you think of?
Google Docs
Google Docs was very easy to use. I will definitely be using Google Docs to share documents with my students and coworkers as well. It was very simple to sign up for Google Docs after already having a Gmail email account. I will use Google Docs to upload class notes for my students to study before tests and review as they complete their homework. Google Docs is a great way to access any saved information from a flash drive. Thank you!
Making Delicious Bookmarks
The Delicious tag website kept giving me "Error" pages when I tried to see where my links were. I do not know if others were having this problem, but it took me fourty-five minutes to add new links because I wasn't sure if they had been uploaded to the Delicious website. Also, when I checked the link the first time on my Web 2.0 Applications page, the Delicious link gave me an error. I logged out of the Delicious website and retried the link on BlogSpot, and it finally opened my Delicious bookmark page. Connecting one site to another was fairly easy. However, trying to bookmark on the Delicious website was confusing and took me 7-10 minutes on each link.

4th of July Nails
Yesterday, I went to a pool party where the AirHogs were at. Afterwards, I painted my nails for the 4th of July. I really like YouTube, and I have started watching lots of tutorials on how to do things I never would imagined I could do on my own! Beauty takes a lot less time than I thought. : )
Here is the video that inspired me to do my nails!
It usually takes me only 20 minutes to do my nails. However, I had to keep waiting for the base colors to dry before I could add the stripes and stars. I started at 8:31 pm and ended at 10:56 pm, including dry time. How much elapsed time passed for me to do my nails?
Below is a link in case you need a refresher on how to calculate Elapsed Time.:
